Hello!

My name is Darwin and I have been collecting stamps at a very young age. I was born in Taiwan and raised in a diplomatic family. As a result, my love for travel, language/culture, people and stamps came to me at a very early age.

However, it was not until ten years ago where my love towards stamps became more apparent. It all started when a good philatelic friend, Mr. Chou became critical over my collections of FDCs, stamps (worldwide) and unrelated covers. His advice was simple: Stay within your own ancestry and stick with one theme. He then recommended "Dollar Dater covers"-- an area that has not been explored extensively in the philatelic world. That of course interested me since I felt I could become more involved in this unique area of philately.

Dear friends, I hope my collection on exhibit here can reflect some of the time and effort that I have put into this topic. It is far from being over. As the saying goes: once you have completed your collection, it can no longer be called a collection. The point here is collection is a lifelong learning experience and it does not end tommorow. My ultimate goal is to eventually display my collection in worldwide exhibitions.
